Leanne - Hound Hiker

Dog Driven! I've been around and involved with dogs my whole life

in the working world and personally.

​I graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program with honours from Georgian College,

Orillia in 2021 to add certification to my experience!

I am experienced with wound care and bandaging,

medication administration, CPR, canine behaviour & canine body language.

​

​I've walked, cared & been involved with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments.

From large breeds, high energy breeds to smaller breeds & now hounds!

​

I grew up with horses, goats, dogs and cats - you name it, we raised it!

My specialty was always training the foals (baby horses)

to wear a halter, fly mask and pick up their feet for a cleaning.

Not only was I involved with horses but dogs as well.

Training, obedience, body language, dog behaviour and dog/human relationships!

Ask me about all the dogs I've worked with and owned, I've got loads of stories to share.

I am often found hiking around Barrie, The Copeland Forest  & 

the Simcoe County Tracts with my Redbone Coonhound Willa.
